Patio and Brunch in the Treasure Valley

We get asked all the time what our favorite spots are for brunch and great patio vibes here in the area! There are way too many to narrow it down, but here are a few of our team favorites.

Best Brunch Spots

  • Fork — One of the most consistently popular downtown brunch spots. Great patio on 8th Street, very Boise atmosphere, and easy to pair with a walk downtown afterward. Perfect for out-of-town guests, cocktails, and people watching.
  • Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar — Southern-style brunch with chicken and waffles, biscuits, mimosas, and a fun energetic weekend vibe. Great downtown patio and dog friendly.
  • Goldy's Breakfast Bistro — Probably the most iconic Boise breakfast spot. Expect waits on weekends, but locals still love it for the classic Boise brunch experience.
  • Wild Root Cafe — Modern, healthy-feeling brunch with craft cocktails and lots of vegetarian-friendly options. Very popular downtown crowd.
  • Percy — More upscale brunch energy with a beautiful patio setup. Great for girls brunch, birthdays, or date mornings downtown.
  • Bacon Boise — Comfort breakfast food, huge portions, and casual downtown patio seating.

Best Patio Spots

  • Cottonwood Grille — One of the prettiest patios in Boise right along the river with lots of trees and a quieter atmosphere.
  • Telaya Wine — Huge local favorite right on the Boise River. People bike the Greenbelt and stop for wine, food trucks, and sunshine.
  • The Shed — Casual patio vibe near the river and Greenbelt. Great for brunch, drinks, and hanging outside on warm weekends.
  • Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery — Big downtown patio, solid cocktails, and classic Boise social energy.
  • Barbacoa Grill — Dramatic upscale atmosphere with one of the more stylish patio scenes in Boise. Great for dinner dates or cocktails.
  • 10 Barrel Brewing Boise — Social brewery patio with younger downtown energy, good beer, and a very spring/summer Boise feel.
  • Red Feather Lounge — Relaxed cocktail patio with more of a date-night feel than the louder brewery patios.

Best Brunch Spots in Nampa & Caldwell

  • The Tower Grill — One of the coolest brunch experiences in the Treasure Valley because it overlooks the small airport runway in Nampa. Great breakfast food, outdoor seating, and a really unique local vibe. Locals love the biscuits and gravy and airplane-themed atmosphere.
  • Cafe De Coco — Hidden gem in downtown Nampa with a more upscale brunch feel. Great for girls brunches, coffee dates, or slower weekend mornings. Known for creative breakfast dishes and desserts.
  • Lebaron's Honker Cafe — Old-school local favorite that’s been around forever. Big comfort breakfast energy with classic diner-style food and very “small-town Idaho” feeling.
  • Brick 29 — More elevated brunch/lunch atmosphere in downtown Nampa. Great cocktails, nicer setting, and one of the better options if you want brunch that feels more date-night or downtown Boise style.
  • Mr. V's Family Restaurant — Classic Caldwell breakfast spot with huge portions and diner vibes. People specifically rave about the biscuits and gravy and pancakes.
  • Sunrise Family Restaurant — One of the longtime local breakfast staples in Caldwell. Very casual, family-style breakfast atmosphere.

Best Patio Spots in Nampa & Caldwell

  • Brick 29 — One of the better, little more upsacle dinner/drinks spots in Nampa. Upstairs downtown location gives it more of a city feel than most Canyon County spots. Great cocktails and date-night atmosphere with a seasonally changing menu.
  • The Tower Grill — Patio seating overlooking the airport runway makes this one really unique, especially in spring mornings and evenings.
  • Crescent Brewery — Relaxed local brewery patio in downtown Nampa with live music and weekend hangout energy. Good for casual spring evenings.
  • Pollos y Mariscos El Guero — Great casual patio for Mexican food, seafood, and cocktails. More lively/social vibe than a typical brunch patio.
  • Birreria El Semaforo — Newer local favorite with outdoor seating, birria, cocktails, and a fun atmosphere. Great if you want something more modern and social in Nampa.
  • 1918 Lounge — Downtown Nampa patio/bar atmosphere that works well for casual drinks after dinner or warm spring nights.
